Exhibition “A Search Through Color: Myths from my Country”

New York (May 4/17). In this exhibition, Esther Cuéllar continues her work: “Beyond the Origins: The Creation”, an investigation with color and different textures, forms and different techniques, inspired by the different mythologies of the different ethnic groups of her country, Colombia. The Art Exhibit:  “A Search Through Color: MYTHS FROM MY COUNTRY” by the Colombian artist Esther Cuéllar, will be open to the public from May 18th thru June 9th of this present year at THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF COLOMBIA IN NEW YORK, 10 East 46th Street, New York, NY 10017. Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Her work is the history of the culture of a country, and of the stories that have passed through many generations by oral tradition, dealing with topics of the origins of life , the phenomena of nature and of all the unknown. The artist returns to the roots of the cosmic thinking of these Colombian indigenous groups, which illustrate the questions of Who Am I? Where do we come from? Where do I go? Each painting is a unique experience, an adventure drawn into colors and textures that leads its viewer to the wondering about the origins of everything  through the mythology of Colombia.
